    Sublimation

    What exactly is sublimation?

    Sublimation is a state of the art printing process mostly used for “print on demand apparel”. It is a method of printing that transfers a design into a material or fabric using ink and heat. The heat opens the pores of the fabric, and then applied with pressure, the ink cools and returns to a solid form. The result is a permanent, full-colour image that won’t crack, peel, or wash away from the substrate.

    Benefits of sublimation.
    • Freedom with your designs, you can have as many colours, logos, and graphics as you like, at no extra printing cost.
    • All over shirt design or plain subtle prints, we’re only limited by your imagination.
    • Longevity of a sublimated fishing shirt . It won’t crack peel or fade, even after going through the wash countless limes.

      runs, enabling low minimum order quantities.

    If you love the feel of a soft cotton garment, then screen printing is the process for you. We source only the best quality garments. We manufacture 1000’s of screen printed T-Shirts and hoodies each year with high-quality prints customized to your needs.

We only use the best suppliers for our screen printed apparel, proven garments made from the finest materials available. All screen printed orders are printed locally on the Gold Coast by our talented team.

    EMBROIDERY

    A popular and convenient form of garment decoration is embroidery. Choose your garment, send your logo and away we go. Embroidery is an excellent option for caps, club and work polos. Regular, 3D embroidery and woven patches are all available options for your custom creation. We have hundreds of garment options available to choose from. All of our embroidery orders are made locally on the Gold Coast.

From big bold graphics to miniminalistic designs and everything in between, our talented art team can bring your ideas to life.

    Every order we make requires artwork/set-up, we charge by the hour for our artwork services, chat to our team about your design ideas, we will provide you with an estimate before we commence.

    Production Times.

    Each of our manufacturing options has different production times, production time starts after you have approved your artwork, garment style and order. It may take some time to perfect your design. If you have a deadline for your order please make our team aware when you make your initial enquiry.

    ORdering

    Upon approval of your artwork and quote you will be sent an order form to complete, we will include a size chart for your desired garment. Please take the time to size up each shirt for
    your order, before submitting it to your customer service representative. When finalized, you will receive order confirmation, an invoice and an eta on delivery.

    FAQ’s

    Yes, we have a minimum garment requirements on all our custom garment orders. The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is different for each manufacturing style. Sublimated garments (fishing shirts) MOQ 10, Screen Printed Garments MOQ 25 pcs, Embroidered Garments 20 pcs.

    No. The minimum order is per colour/style.

    Yes we can individualise your garments with custom names.

    Yes, it is no problems to supply your own artwork for an order. Contact the team for a list of artwork requirements for your particular order.

    Yes, we regularly print with our customers images. Your images need to be high resolution, the manufacturing process is quite detailed, better the image you supply, better the garment you receive.

    We require vector art for all logos, illustrator(ai, eps), corel draw(cdr), pdf are all acceptable vector file formats. We cannot use jpg, png word files, redrawing charges may apply if you cannot supply the appropriate files.

    Yes. Artwork/setup is charged at $100 + gst per hour. We have a minimum setup fee of $100 + gst, this is charged for all new designs for all customers. The final artwork charge depends on how long our team takes to complete your brief, every change we make no matter how minor is charged. Please think carefully about your design, include as much detail as you can on your initial brief, this will minimize the time/cost required to create your design. We are happy to give you an artwork estimate before we commence your order.

    No. All artwork remains property of Switchbait. The art fee is for our artists to “set up” your design for use on our custom shirts and does not transfer ownership. Each graphics/photo has it’s own license agreement, you cannot use our artwork for other purposes. Contact our team prior to ordering if you require full rights to any artwork or if you would like any clarification on our artwork terms.

    Yes. We can commission custom graphics, our team of talented graphic designers can create almost anything you want. We’re only limited by your budget. Chat to our team for a quote.

    Yes. We can offer a full retail spec garment for you, custom tags, bags and trims available. Chat to our friendly staff about your custom request.

    All of our performance garments are UPF 50+ (AS 4399:2020) Blocking up 98% of harmful UV rays. AS 4399:2020 is the Australian Standard for Sun protective clothing – Evaluation and classification. This is the highest possible rating for sun protective clothing in Australia.
